Cremation

For those preferring cremation personal needs and wants can be tailored to fit every family:

·        Direct Cremation is a service with no formal funeral service.  This includes removal from local place of death, obtaining cremation authorization and permits, obtaining information for death certificate and obituary, assisting with veterans benefits and social security, minimum incineration container, the cremation process and returning the cremains to the family in a temporary container

·        Memorial Service is a service without the body present.  This is a way for family and friends to remember a loved one.  The memorial can be held at the Young Funeral Home, in church, a chapel or anywhere you wish to hold a gathering.  The urn may be buried in the family cemetery.

·        Traditional Cremation Service with a Viewing, often a family will wish to have a service with the deceased present for family and friends to view prior to cremation.  There is a wide selection of cremation caskets suitable.
